DEFINITIONS

DEN – noun

  1. the lair or shelter of a wild animal
  2. a room, often secluded, in a house or apartment, designed to provide a quiet, comfortable, and informal atmosphere for conversation, reading, writing, etc.

DELVE – verb

  1. to carry on intensive and thorough research for data, information, or the like; to investigate
  2. to search or rummage
  3. to dig or burrow deeply (esp of an animal)
  4. to dig or turn up (earth, a garden, etc) as with a spade
